KUALA LUMPUR, 25 Feb (Bernama) -- Kumpulan Sokongan Ibu Bapa, iaitu Sarana

Ibu Bapa dan Sarana Sekolah yang dilancarkan semalam, bakal berperanan menambah

baik prestasi akademik sekolah serta mempergiatkan lagi aktiviti di luar bilik

darjah pada masa depan.

Presiden Majlis Permuafakatan Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru Nasional (PIBGN)

Profesor Madya Datuk Mohamad Ali Hasan berkata Kementerian Pelajaran telah

mengambil langkah yang berkesan dan ini sejajar dengan Bidang Keberhasilan Utama

Negara (NKRA) dalam Pendidikan.

"Konsep Sarana Ibu Bapa dan Sarana Sekolah seumpama ini telah lama

dijalankan di negara maju dalam memastikan taraf pencapaian akademik dan

prasarana (kemudahan) sekolah mencapai standard yang baik serta membantu

mendapat bantuan kewangan daripada pihak swasta dalam pelbagai akitiviti

sekolah," katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama di sini hari ini.

Beliau berkata demikian bagi mengulas Sarana Ibu Bapa dan Sarana Sekolah

yang dilancarkan Timbalan Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yang juga

Menteri Pelajaran semalam.

Inisiatif Sarana Ibu Bapa dan Sarana Sekolah itu terkandung di bawah Pelan

Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia 2013-2025.

SARANA-PIBG (REAKSI) 2 KUALA LUMPUR

Sarana Ibu Bapa mengandungi empat elemen iaitu penyediaan suasana

pembelajaran di rumah, interaksi sosial dengan anak, komunikasi dengan anak dan

sokongan terhadap kecemerlangan anak.

Sarana Sekolah pula mempunyai enam elemen iaitu iklim sekolah, komunikasi

berkesan, sokongan terhadap kejayaan murid, tanggungjawab bersama, keputusan

bersama, kerjasama dengan komuniti dan kumpulan sokongan ibu bapa.

Mohamad Ali berkata selain ibu bapa dan guru, pembabitan masyarakat

setempat, syarikat berkaitan kerajaan (GLC) dan pihak swasta juga diperlukan

dalam menghulurkan bantuan dari sudut luahan idea, pendapat dan bantuan

kewangan.

"GLC dan pihak swasta dapat memberi bantuan kepada kumpulan sokongan ini

dengan menambah baik kemudahan sekolah, menganjurkan sesi motivasi oleh

penceramah berpengalaman, membantu mengisi tabung Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru

(PIBG) dan sebagainya," katanya.

Presiden Kesatuan Perkhidmatan Perguruan Kebangsaan (NUTP) Hashim Adnan

berkata NUTP menyambut baik kewujudan kumpulan sokongan itu dapat membantu pihak

sekolah dalam mengurangkan beban guru seperti mengisi tabung PIBG, memperbaiki

tahap pencapaian pelajar dalam akademik dan sukan dan meningkatkan kehadiran ibu

dan bapa dalam mesyuarat PIBG setiap tahun.

"Langkah kementerian ini merupakan antara jalan penyelesaian dalam

mengimbangi jurang perbezaan dalam pencapaian akademik pelajar dan kemudahan

sekolah di bandar dan di luar bandar," katanya.

Sehubungan itu, beliau berkata Kementerian Pelajaran perlu menyediakan garis

panduan yang jelas mengenai kumpulan sokongan berkenaan dan mengadakan

perjumpaan membabitkan wakil kementerian, NUTP dan PIBGN untuk membincangkan dan

bertukar-tukar pendapat demi memastikan inisiatif itu berjalan dengan baik.
