KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Jan (Bernama) -- Pakar pembekal kuari, SCH Group Bhd,

berharap dapat mengumpul RM20.86 juta daripada Tawaran Awam Permulaan (IPO)

apabila disenaraikan di pasaran ACE di Bursa Malaysia pada 13 Feb.

Dalam satu kenyataan hari ini SCH berkata daripada keseluruhan perolehan

kasar itu, 10 juta akan diguna untuk modal perbelanjaan termasuk mendirikan

fasiliti baharu operasi kumpulan.

"RM5 juta akan digunakan untuk membeli jentera dan kelengkapan kuari sebagai

inventori segmen perniagaan terbabit, RM3.86 juta sebagai modal kerja manakala

RM2 juta untuk perbelanjaan penyenaraian," katanya.

Menurutnya fasiliti operasi baharu bernilai RM14 juta itu akan terdiri

daripada bangunan empat tingkat yang akan menempatkan pejabat korporat, gudang,

kilang dan juga bilik pameran serta pusat khidmat jentera dan kelengkapan kuari

serta ruang baik pulih jentera.

"Pelan bangunan sudah dihantar kepada pihak berkuasa untuk diluluskan,"

katanya.

Pengarah Urusan dan Timbalan Pengerusi Lau Mong Ling berkata, SCH merancang

untuk membuka pejabat di Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Filipina dan

Kemboja dengan memanfaatkan pelanggan sedia ada yang memiliki operasi kuari di

luar negara dan operasi perniagaan di rantau terbabit.

"Kita boleh mewujudkan kerjasama dengan mereka untuk membekalkan pelbagai

jenis produk industri kuari, jentera dan kelengkapan kuari serta jentera kuari

dibaik pulih di samping kekisi kuari kepada pengusaha kuari.

"Pengembangan bisnes di negara berkenaan akan membantu melengkapkan pasaran

sasaran dan meluaskan jangkauan di Asia Tenggara kerana kita menjangkakan

peningkatan pembangunan ekonomi dan lebih banyak projek infrastruktur di rantau

itu," tambahnya.

Selain itu, SCH merancang meningkatkan penguasaan pasaran tempatan dengan

menambah jajaran produk jentera dan kelengkapan kuari serta jentera kuari dibaik

pulih.

Lau berkata pasaran dan permintaan terhadap jentera kuari dibaik pulih

adalah tinggi di Sabah, Sarawak dan Asia Tenggara berikutan terdapatnya banyak

kuari kecil yang tidak memerlukan jentera baharu berkuasa tinggi untuk operasi

mereka.

"SCH merancang untuk memenuhi pasaran dengan membekalkan jentera kuari pada

harga lebih kos efektif dan berkualiti tinggi," kata Lau.

Melalui IPO itu, SCH menawarkan 90.69 juta saham baharu dengan harga tawaran

23 sen sesaham, dengan 13 juta saham baharu ditawarkan kepada orang awam

Malaysia melalui undian; 13.0 juta saham baharu untuk pengarah yang layak,

kakitangan dan sekutu bisnes; 45.03 juta saham baharu untuk pemegang saham

Bumiputera yang diluluskan Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri,

manakala selebihnya 19.66 juta saham baharu dikhaskan untuk penempatan

persendirian kepada pelabur dikenal pasti.

Sebagai sebahagian daripada usaha penyenaraian, syarikat itu juga menawarkan

untuk jualan 32.98 juta saham melalui penempatan persendirian kepada pelabur

terpilih.

IPO dibuka untuk langganan mulai hari ini hingga 27 Jan 2014.
