6 Dec – It was reported that the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) is on its banning fiesta again. This time, the list included 23 different songs as well as 14 music videos, including those by Leessang, W&Whale and rapper Simon D.

According to allkpop website, on 1 December, MOGEF released a list of musical material through Korea's e-Gazette that they deemed hazardous to the nation's youth.

The ministry deemed Simon D and Rux' songs "Hero" and "Dirty Punk" respectively were banned because of the profanity in their lyrics. Meanwhile, they determined that hip hop duo Leessang's songs from their 6th album "Asura Balbalta", "Turned Off the TV", "Kangnam Riche", and "Am I?" contained content too lewd or profane for all audiences.

W&Whale and KARA's Han Seung-yeon also received a ban for "Break It Down" and "Because of Love" respectively because of the violence portrayed in their music videos.

Defconn's music video for his track "First Classic" also got the boot because of profane language in the lyrics and shots of hazardous substances in the video.

It was reported that the bans will be put into effect starting 8 December, with the albums labelled "lewd" and "profane" can only be purchased by those 19 years old and above. In addition, these songs were not to be broadcasted before 10PM on TV.
