Song Hye-gyo denies falling out with Wong Kar-wai

4 Jul – Korean actress Song Hye-gyo again dismissed rumours about a falling out with "The Grandmaster" director, Wong Kar-wai, as reported on Groove Asia.

At the press conference of her drama, "That Winter, The Wind Blows" at TVB City recently, the actress dismissed claims that she was in a conflict with the award-wining director, saying, "Yes, I admit that the filming felt difficult for me initially since it was the first time I worked with a non-Korean director, but there is no dispute between us."

"Moreover, it just made me realise that the most important thing was the experience working with outstanding directors and actors. When compared with the experience I had, the initial difficulty didn't seem like a big deal."

She also shared her hopes to work with more Hong Kong filmmakers in the long run, provided that the scripts are also interesting.

Meanwhile, the actress is also looking forward to working with John Woo, as well as former co-star Zhang Ziyi, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Huang Xiaoming in the new film, "The Crossing" this month.
