KOTA KINABALU, 17 April (Bernama) -- Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR) Sabah

menjangka keputusan pilihan raya umum akan diketahui seawal 7 malam pada hari

pengundian 5 Mei ini.

Pengarah SPR Negeri Datuk Md Idrus Ismail berkata semua keputusan PRU13

bagi Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) dan Parlimen di negeri ini dijangka diketahui

selewat-lewatnya pukul 10 malam pada hari yang sama.

“Kali ini kita jangka keputusan pertama PRU13 diketahui lebih awal

berbanding pilihan raya sebelum ini, kerana semua kertas undi untuk pengundian

awal pada 30 April akan mula dikira jam 4 petang pada 5 Mei ini.

“Pada pilihan raya kali ini, semua pengiraan undi akan dibuat di saluran,

tidak seperti pilihan raya lepas yang mana, pusat pengundian yang ditutup seawal

jam 3 petang dibawa terus ke pusat penjumlahan rasmi undi, dan selepas jam 5

petang baru dikira," katanya.

Md Idrus berkata demikian kepada pemberita sempena perjumpaan SPR bersama

media di Pusat Media Pejabat SPR Sabah di Kompleks Pentadbiran Kerajaan

Persekutuan, di sini, hari ini.

SPR-KEPUTUSAN 2 (AKHIR) KOTA KINABALU

Pusat media itu akan digunakan untuk menyalurkan maklumat mengenai senarai

nama calon yang bertanding bagi kerusi parlimen dan DUN, dan pusat itu dijangka

menjadi tumpuan pengamal media yang akan membuat liputan berita terutama

penamaan calon pada 20 April dan pengumuman keputusan 5 Mei ini.

Beliau berkata pada pilihan raya umum yang lepas, SPR menghadapi banyak

masalah termasuk cuaca yang tidak menentu.

Md Idrus berkata setakat ini, pejabat SPR negeri telah mengeluarkan sebanyak

1,025 borang pencalonan, dan daripada jumlah itu, sebanyak 361 borang

dikeluarkan untuk Parlimen dan 664 borang untuk DUN.

Mengenai urusan pengundian di SK Tanjung Labian, Lahad Datu, yang terjejas

berikutan kes pencerobohan pengganas di Kampung Tanduo Lahad Datu baru-baru ini,

beliau berkata pusat mengundi di sekolah itu, yang ditutup sebelum ini, kini

sudah dibuka.

“Bagaimanapun, beberapa rumah pengundi yang tidak dapat dimasuki, dan mereka

kini terpaksa ditempatkan di sebuah dewan di Felda. Kita akan gunakan kenderaan

agensi kerajaan untuk membawa pengundi ke SK Tanjung Labian untuk membolehkan

mereka mengundi,” katanya sambil menambah kawasan itu mempunyai 671

pengundi berdaftar.
