Stay strong, dear families, MH370 kin tells MH17 families
She lost her father when flight MH370 vanished on March 8 but today, Maira Elizabeth Nari turned caregiver and told the kin of those aboard the crashed Malaysia Airlines MH17 to "stay strong".
"As the family member of the crew MH370, and on behalf of them, we pray for MH17. Stay strong dear families," tweeted the daughter of MAS chief steward Andrew Nari who was aboard flight MH370.
MAS said 298 people, including three infants, were on flight MH17 when it crashed in Ukraine last night.
Using her Twitter account @Gorgxous, Maria (pic) said, "My deepest condolences to the family of crew and passengers of MH17. I am truly sorry for your lost. Stay strong. I'm out of words."
"It is a very heartbreaking news, tragedy, you name it. We continue to pray.
"Let's just pray for MH17. & not to forget Gaza, we continue to pray for them. God save your children," the 18-year-old added in her popular microblogging account.
The Guardian reported that MH17 had been flying 300m above the 9,700m level of restricted airspace en-route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was allegedly shot down over Ukraine.
Malaysians took to social networking accounts to express their disbelief over the second such incident for a MAS Boeing 777 aircraft. Both MH370 and MH17 are flights operating the Boeing 777-200 aircraft which has a fine safety record.
Flight MH370, which was carrying 239 people from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, has yet to be found. The search for the plane is centred at a patch of sea in the southern Indian Ocean near Australia. – July 18, 2014.
