Suzuki to unveil new crossover concept

Ahead of the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, Suzuki has release a teaser of its compact crossover, which the company says is meant to embody the basic ruggedness of an SUV.

The Frankfurt Motor Show is coming up so vehicle manufacturers have begun releasing teasers for what they plan to unveil during the show. Suzuki has just released a teaser of a compact crossover that they plan to unveil at Frankfurt, the iV-4.

Bare in mind that this is crossover will be unveiled in concept form, meaning the real car may differ from what you see. Since it’s a teaser nothing much has been revealed except for two pictures showing the vehicle from the front and side where its features are outlined with a blue glow. Despite the rather vague pictures, it does look like the iV-4 will have more of an SUV stance than a road car.

The Japanese manufacturer says that the car will embody “ the ruggedness of an SUV”, which means that this crossover is meant to offer the best of both worlds; good road ability as well as acceptable off-road capability. It takes design cues from existing Suzuki off-roaders and will probably share the same basic look too.

The company plans on revealing full details regarding the iV-4 at the press conference that it plans on holding ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show’s public opening. The iV-4 will be joined with the rest of the Suzuki range so stay tuned as we will bring you more details as we find out.
