PASIR MAS, 17 Jun (Bernama) -- Seorang ibu kehilangan tiga anaknya selepas

mereka ditemui mati lemas ketika sedang mandi-manda di Sungai Golok di Kampung

Rahmat Hilir, Rantau Panjang di sini hari ini.

Dalam kejadian kira-kira pukul 4 petang itu, mangsa Muhammad Zulhilmi Aziz,

7, Muhammad Syahmi, 6, dan Muhammad Irfan Syahmi, 4, dihanyut arus ketika mandi

di sungai yang terletak kira-kira 100 meter dari rumah ibu saudara mereka.

Ketua Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Rantau Panjang Nasuha Fahd Ahmad Mijar

berkata seramai lapan anggota dikejar ke tempat kejadian selepas menerima

laporan daripada penduduk kampung, dan mangsa pertama, Muhammad Syahmi ditemui

pada 5.20 petang.

"Mangsa kedua, Muhammad Irfan Syahmi ditemui pada 5.30 petang dan mangsa

ketiga, Muhammad Zulhilmi pada 5.50 petang," katanya kepada pemberita di lokasi

kejadian.

Mayat tiga beradik itu kemudian dihantar ke Hospital Lati, Pasir Mas untuk

bedah siasat dan dijangka dikebumi pagi esok di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kampung

Rahmat.

Sementara itu, bapa saudara mangsa, Abdul Manaf Abdul Rahman, 39, berkata

ketika kejadian, beliau berada di kedai berdekatan sebelum anak saudaranya yang

lain memaklumkan bahawa ketiga-tiga mangsa hilang ketika mandi sungai.

"Saya bersama seorang rakan bergegas ke sungai dan menemui tiga pasang

selipar milik ketiga-tiga mangsa. Saya kemudian buat keputusan untuk menyelam

bagi mencari ketiga-tiga beradik itu.

"Selepas sejam menyelam, saya menemui mangsa pertama di sebuah lubuk di

sungai berkenaan dengan kedalaman kira-kira tiga meter, sebelum menemui dua

mangsa lain berdekatan kawasan itu," katanya.

Abdul Manaf berkata semua mangsa ditinggalkan bersama seorang daripada

adik-beradiknya kerana ibu mereka, Nur Asyikin Abdul Rahman, 41, sedang

mengikuti bengkel di Tadika Kemas Cempaka Sari, Gual Sintok di sini.

Ibu mangsa bagaimanapun enggan ditemu bual kerana masih terkejut dan

bersedih dengan kejadian itu.
