Penganalisis politik, Profesor Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusof menyahut pelawaan Timbalan Menteri Besar Kelantan, Datuk Nik Mohamad Amar Nik Abdullah (gambar) untuk ke Kelantan bertemunya selepas 2 September nanti.

"Setelah kecewa dengan tulisan saya yang alpa untuk memuji dua projek penting kerajaan negeri, TMB mempelawa saya ke pejabat beliau untuk menyelesaikan kekeliruan saya mengenai kerajaan negeri.

"Jawapannya ialah saya bersedia. Esok malam saya bertolak ke tiga buah negara di Eropah dan akan segera berjumpa TMB selepas pulang pada 2 September nanti. Aduhai TMB, tunggu kedatangan saya!" kata Agus dalam tulisannya.

Dalam wawancara dengan The Malaysian Insider di pejabatnya di Kota Bharu, Nik Amar mempelawa untuk bertemu dengan Agus pada bila-bila masa di pejabatnya.

Agus adalah pihak yang memulakan perdebatan secara terbuka ini apabila menulis dan menyifatkan kerajaan negeri Kelantan hilang keghairahan semasa 100 hari pentadbirannya.

Ia kemudian dijawab oleh Nik Amar melalui kenyataannya kepada The Malaysian Insider dan seterusnya dijawab kembali oleh Agus dua hari lalu.

"Orang seperti Agus ini harus memahaminya. Dia anak Kelantan, takkan tidak tahu. Jika dia tidak puas hati, saya bersedia jumpa dia di pejabat saya di Kota Bharu bila-bila masa," kata Nik Amar kepada The Malaysian Insider.

Agus dalam menjawab kenyataan Nik Amar melalui wawancara itu berkata, Nik Amar syok sendiri ketika menjawab tulisan beliau.

"Apabila TMB menjawab posting saya mengenai isu Kelantan dalam The Malaysian Insider, empat perkara tersentap di hati saya. Pertama, jawapan beliau adalah self-indulgent (syok sendiri). Justeru syok sendirilah, maka jawapan yang beliau berikan penuh fantasi dan terkeluar dari isu sebenar yang saya timbulkan," kata Agus dalam tulisan yang dibuat melalui Facebooknya.

Beliau juga mendakwa jawapan Nik Amar itu tergesa-gesa, alergik dengan kritikan dan tergelincir dari topik.

"Jika ini jawapan yang diberikan dalam peperiksaan, maka markah yang saya berikan kepada jawapan TMB ialah OUB (out of bound). Tergelincir! Jika saya mahu ulas hal ini, teruk jadinya. Maka, biar saya sekadar menjelaskan apakah yang OUB itu?" katanya.

OUB itu, kata Agus, ialah apabila 'kita' tidak menjawab perkara yang ditanya?

"Misalnya, soalan saya ialah “mengapakah kerajaan Kelantan lewat melaksanakan janji untuk melaksanakan lebuh raya rakyat?” Jawapan yang diberikan ialah “kerana Agus tidak puas hati Datuk Husam (Musa) tidak dilantik menjadi Exco.” Aduh, berat jawapan itu? Lain ditanya, lain yang dijawab," katanya. – 22 Ogos, 2013.
