Anti-Vax Protesters 'Storm' Barclays Center in Support of Kyrie Irving

A group of anti-vaccine protesters gathered outside Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, October 24, in support of point guard Kyrie Irving, who has refused to have the COVID-19 vaccine.

Footage taken outside the arena shows some of the crowd attempting to break through security barriers and push their way into the building.

Other video shows demonstrators holding signs that said “STAND WITH KYRIE,” and messages expressing opposition to COVID-19 vaccinations.

A spokesperson for Barclays Center said the arena “briefly closed its doors in order to clear protesters from the main doors on the plaza and ensure guests could safely enter the arena.”
