Bay Area Firefighters Rescue 2 People From Under Fallen Tree

Firefighters rescued two people in Newark, California, after high winds knocked a eucalyptus tree down onto their vehicle, on Tuesday, March 21.

Wind gusts of over 70 mph were observed in the Bay Area on Tuesday, said the National Weather Service. There were multiple reports of downed trees across the region as a result of the high winds, according to local media.
