Damage Reported After 'Possible Tornado' Hits Los Angeles County
At least one person was injured and structures damaged after a possible tornado hit California’s Los Angeles County on Wednesday, March 22, local media reported.
Footage captured by Instagram user @jsan_91 shows debris flying past a gas station in Montebello, located 8 miles (13 km) east of downtown Los Angeles, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, survey crews were headed to Montebello to assess damage, after confirming an EF-0 tornado had hit Carpinteria on Tuesday. Credit: @jsan_91 via Storyful
