Easter Celebrated With a Boom in Poland

A local Easter tradition was taken to new heights in the town of Zawiercie, Poland, to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb on Easter Sunday. Paweł Pardela and his friends decided to follow the tradition using carbide and water to create a booming sound, which is said to symbolise the moving of the stone in front of Jesus’s tomb. However, the boom, was a little bigger than expected, blowing one of the men to the ground. Credit: YouTube/Pawel Porki
