President Obama Makes Landmark Kuala Lumpur Visit

President Obama attended a state banquet with Malaysian King Halim on the first visit by a US president to Malaysia in over 50 years. Obama called for a new era of partnership with Malaysia in his speech at the banquet on April 26. The United States has provided Malaysia with military support in its search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 and wants Kuala Lumpur to sign the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade deal.
