ALOR SETAR, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Kedah coach Wan Jamak Wan Hassan whose

seven-match suspension ended deems his return as ''back from dead''.

"I was like a dead man walking alive throughout the seven-match suspension

because I could only watch the team''s progress from far and was helpless. It was

a torrid time," he told reporters here today.

Wan Jamak was handed a seven-match suspension by the Football Association of

Malaysia (FAM) for his outburst when slamming the quality of refereeing in the

M-League.

"Now that I am back, I will have to draw out a strategy to revive the spirit

of players. I hope the presence of new imports Abdelfatah Safi from Morocco and

Mohammed Hamidan from Ghana will be able to lift the momentum for Kedah," he

said.

He said he saw Safi play in the match against Sabah at the Darul Aman

Stadium in Alor Setar on Saturday and was impressed with the Moroccan''s

contribution in the match.

"I will have to prepare the players to face Terengganu tomorrow," he said.

Since his suspension, Kedah had failed to win any of the five matches played

thus far.

President''s Cup coach Mohd Nidzam Adha who stepped in for Wan Jamak had also

called it quits after watching his boys fail to win any points after five

matches.
